Roberta “Jean” Newton
December 1946 – July 2026
Jean was born in Arizona to Rethel and Elma Parks. She lived in various places in California and Washington before settling in Waterford, CA in 2000. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Emanuel Medical Center for 30 years, until her retirement in 2009. Jean was a member of Waterford Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband Euberto Newton; children Stalla (Marvin Dalton) Gamble-Dalton and Euberto (Yvette Newton) Newton Jr.; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Jean was preceded in death by her son Russell Newton; siblings Willia Mae Woody and Margie Armstrong.
At Jean’s request no services will be held.
