Warren Dean Marr was born July 24, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph and Genevieve Marr. He passed away on October 7, 2025 at home in Turlock, CA at the age of 77 years.
He is survived by his wife Linda; his two daughters, Monica and husband Michael Pursell of Madera, CA, and Gabrielle Marr of Turlock, CA; his three grandchildren, Caleb and wife Savannah Pursell of Madera, CA, Shane and wife Kylie Pursell of Clovis, CA, and Alison Pursell of Madera, CA; his elder brother, Gerald and wife Laura Marr of Marshall, MO. He leaves behind his sister-in-law LaVella and husband Lawson Bartell; nephews Scott and wife Jennifer Bartell, Greg and wife Trecy Marr; nieces Karen and husband Randy Hines, and Robyn Bartell Calara. His niece Darla Bartell Price passed away 3 ½ hours after Warren on October 7. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Ronald who died at 16 years old in an auto accident when Warren was five, and later by both of his parents.
Warren was the pastor of the Turlock Believers Church for 33 years. Warren came from a long line of ministers, going back to the 1700’s. His father was a minister, his grandson Caleb is a minister of the gospel, his nephew Greg is a minister, and even his son-in-law Michael is a minister. Warren’s life was also blessed by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17 from 4pm to 7pm at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18 at 2:00pm, also at Allen Mortuary. Burial will take place at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
