It is with overwhelming sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our precious daughter, Cynthia Sophia Piña, who passed away on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. She was just 12 years old. This loss is entirely unexpected, and our family is grieving profoundly for our beautiful little girl.
Cynthia was born on February 28th, 2013, and from that day forward, she filled our lives with light and love. She was a vibrant soul, known for her courage, her adventurous spirit, her loving nature, her infectious humor, and her strong will that matched her brilliant personality.
Those blessed enough to have known Cynthia will forever carry the memory of her gorgeous, contagious smile, her beautiful, bright eyes that sparkled with mischief, and her hilarious sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest day. She had a truly unique soul and a huge heart, especially for her family and the many pets she adored, particularly her cherished cats. She truly brought immeasurable joy to everyone around her.
Cynthia leaves behind her loving mother, Mayra Equihua; her devoted father, Edwin Pina; and her beloved sisters, Naomi Pina, Natalie Pina, and Olivia Corona. Her spirit and memory will live on within us forever.
