Socorro is survived by her spouse, Allan Hammer Sr., her children Luzinsky Hammer of Milpitas, CA, Reynaldo Rodriguez of Managua, Nicaragua, Jennifer Hammer of Turlock, CA and Allan Hammer Jr. of Turlock, CA.
She is also survived by her siblings, Mayra of Managua, Nicaragua, Xiomara- Texas, Rigoberto of Managua, Nicaragua, Oscar of Managua, Nicaragua, Victor of Managua, Nicaragua, Ismael of Managua, Nicaragua, Denis of Managua, Nicaragua and Jonathan of Managua, Nicaragua.
Socorro was also the proud grandmother of Nine grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Socorro is preceded in death by her siblings, Joaquin and Ligia.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church Reform Movement.
Socorro Hammer was born on September 21, 1954 to Victor and Juanita in Managua, Nicaragua. The oldest sister of 11 siblings, she left Nicaragua in 1988 and arrived in the USA in 1989. She married Allan Hammer in 1991 and was baptized into the Seventh Day Adventist church that same year. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and church member. Mom may be gone from our sights, but never from our hearts. Rest in Peace.

A Celebration of Socorro’s life will be held on Sunday December 7th at 10:00am, at the Moriah Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church in Plymouth, Ca. Burial will follow the service at the Moriah Heights Cemetery, also in Plymouth.
