Roger “Butch” Perry
Born: October 1, 1956, Merced, CA
Passed: January 13, 2026, Turlock, CA
Butch grew up working in the family land leveling business after completing the 8th grade. He went on to have a varied career, ultimately working as an Above-Ground Miner and Heavy Equipment Operator.
Butch’s passions included riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, shooting, and spending time with his grandchildren, Preston and Bethany, and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Troy, Benjamin, Amelia, Jaxon, and Joseph.
His achievements included receiving an Ethics and Safety award, winning trophies at Biker Rallies, and being recognized for his lifelong patriotism. Butch served his community, church, and the Rock Bottom Riders Motorcycle Club. He was dedicated to his roles as church usher, Deacon, and participant in outreach gatherings and 12-step programs. Notably, he founded and led the Rock Bottom Riders M/C, overseeing club duties and fostering camaraderie with members and other clubs.
Butch met Linda in junior high and married her on December 13, 1974, in Dos Palos, CA. He is survived by his loved ones, including family, friends, riders, clubs, and community leaders.
Viewing will be held at Four Seasons Christian Fellowship, 216 Columbia Ave, Turlock, CA 95380 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 beginning at 11:00a.m. with the funeral to begin at 1:00p.m.
Butch’s final resting place will be at Dos Palos Cemetery at a later date.
