Dolores Arleen DeHart
February 6, 1931 ~ January 21, 2026
Dolores DeHart of Turlock, California has passed away surrounded by family at the age of 94. She was born February 6, 1931, in Ford, Kansas to Calvin and Gladys Robb. She graduated from St. Anthony’s Nursing School in Dodge City, Kansas and worked as an LVN for 25 years before having to retire due to health issues. During her time as a nurse she worked at many medical institutions, including Community Hospital, Emanuel Hospital, Turlock Medical Clinic, as well as hospitals in Petaluma and Yuba City. In 1952 she married Robert Earl DeHart, and together they lived in Dodge City, Kansas and Alamosa, Colorado before moving to Turlock, CA in 1958 where they raised their family.
Dolores loved her Catholic faith and was and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 67 years. Throughout her life Dolores enjoyed singing in the Sacred Heart Catholic church choir, gardening, quilting, travel and genealogy. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Turlock Quilt Guild, Quilts of Honor and the Golden Valley Spinners & Weavers.
She especially enjoyed the many camping trips along the northern California coast and traveling with her daughter Lisa to the east coast researching family genealogy.
Dolores is survived by her children, sons Robert E. DeHart Jr. of Turlock, Ca, Thomas E. DeHart (Tammy) of Klamath Falls, Oregon and daughter Lisa DeHart of Twain Harte, CA. She is preceded in passing by her parents Calvin and Gladys, half-brother John Fulton, her husband Robert, and infant daughter Diana.
A Visitation will be held at Allen Mortuary on Tuesday, January 27 from 5-7pm.
A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at Sacred Heart Church starting at 10:00am. Burial at Lakewood Memorial Park to follow.
