Maria Simon passed away on February 15, 2026. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend whose life was centered on her family and her faith.
Maria shared a beautiful marriage with her husband, Jesus Simon, and together they built a family grounded in love and devotion. She was the proud and loving mother of Teodoro Simón, Lupe Hernandez, Eugenio Simon, Carolina Cosio, Hermilo Simón, Macrina Mora, Agustin Simon, Marisol Báez, and Araceli Báez. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she found deep happiness in bringing everyone together around her table.
Maria had a strong passion for sharing her faith and treasured Bible truths. Her hope and confidence in God’s promises guided her life and comforted her heart. She loved cooking for her family, nurturing her garden, and tending to her plants and flowers, which brought her great happiness. Her home was always filled with life — she kept birds, and there was always a small dog and a cat by her side.
Maria will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
May she now rest peacefully as she waits to be called back to life in the day of her resurrection.
