Ruben Salazar, 73, of Livingston CA, passed away April 4, 2026, in Livingston Ca.
Funeral services including Rosary and viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary 247 N Broadway Turlock, Ca 95380 on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, from 4pm-7pm. Rosary will be at 6pm at same location. Religious Ceremony will be held the following day; Friday, April 17th, 2026, at Saint Jude Catholic Church at 330 Franci Street, Livingston, CA 95334 at 10:00am.
Ruben Salazar was born in Rancho Salazar’s Zacatecas, Mexico to the parents of Gregorio and Carmen Salazar on April 13, 1952. He went to the city of Mexico at a very young age looking for better opportunities than came to California. He then married his wife Jenny in August 1976. He worked over twenty years at Foster Farms and then at Northern Refrigerated Transportation in Turlock.
Ruben is survived by his wife, his three children, eleven grandchildren and five siblings. Ruben is also survived by many family members including nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunt, and godchildren.
Ruben will forever be remembered, loved, and missed. We will always keep his smiles, happy spirit, and his amazing dancing. We are thankful and blessed to have known him and have had him in our lives.
