Anita June (Potts) Cabral, age 85, of Turlock, California, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026.

Anita was born in August 1940 in Nevada City, California, and was raised in Yuba County. She later moved to Livingston, where she graduated from Livingston High School. In 1963, she married the love of her life, Louie Cabral, and together they built their home and family in Turlock.

Anita found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, crocheting, and reading, and treasured the time spent with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Potts; mother, Leola Wood; her beloved husband, Louie Cabral, in 2014; siblings, Leslie Potts, Dennis Wood, Jeffery Wood, Charles Wood (Spike), and twin sister Wanita Jean Clardy; and daughter, Rhonda Cabral.

Anita is survived by her daughters, Lana (Robert) Woods and MaryLynn (Stan) Atkison; four grandchildren, April Atkison, Brian Atkison, Brayden Atkison, and Ryder Atkison; three great-grandchildren, Latisha Woods, Emery Klosowski, and Micenley Woods; and her siblings, Lois Davis, Steve Potts, Janice Hultquist, and Carol Manning. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Allen Mortuary.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Turlock Memorial Park.
