With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Shrimati Ram Kumari Charan, who left this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 83.

Amma was born on August 1, 1942, in Bilalevu, Sigatoka, Fiji Islands. She was the cherished wife of the late Sadhu Shiu Charan. They were married in 1962 and made their home in Paipai, Lautoka, Fiji Islands. She was the last surviving elder from her husband’s side of the family, and her passing marks the end of a cherished generation.

Amma was a woman of great wisdom, strength, and natural intelligence. Her life was filled with hard work, devotion, creativity, prayer, humor, and unconditional love. She had a special gift for caring for her family, solving problems, creating with her hands, and making everyone feel loved. She worked hard, gave generously, and lived with deep faith and devotion.

She remains the loving mother to Prabha Ram, Renuka Prakash, Pradeep Chand, and Harish Chand. She was also blessed with sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and many loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Amma’s love was shown in many ways – through her cooking, sewing, prayers, stories, artwork, laughter, and endless care for her family. The family will always cherish the meals she lovingly prepared, the dresses she beautifully sewed, and the memories she created with so much joy.

Her faith was deep and powerful. She was devoted to prayer and filled with Shakti and Bhakti. She taught her children the value of faith, strength, humility, and love. Even during difficult times, she continued to pray and bless her family.

Amma will always remain the pillar of strength in our family. Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we take comfort in knowing that her love, blessings, prayers, and teachings will continue to guide us for generations to come. Amma is now united with our beloved Bappa.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Allen Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00 pm at Allen Mortuary.
