About the Service

Memorial service on Sat., Oct. 19 at 2:00pm at Allen Mortuary

  1. Aunt Pearl, I have so many fond memories of you; gathering at Grandma’s house for Holidays, especially Christmas Eve making tamales with all the Aunts. I remember when I was about 10 years old you and Aunt Virginia paid my sister Gloria and I 25 cents to sing Volver Volver, in front of all the Aunts and cousins at Christmas Eve. That song will always remind me of you. Thank you for all the great memories and for being you. 🙂

  2. To my Mother-in-law, thank you for being there for my Wife and Son’s when were so far away from home thank you for bring your love and warmth to our lives we will miss you and never forget you Rest In Peace

  3. Mom it has been a long struggle with Alzheimer’s and each visit proved to be heartbreaking 14 years of this illness took its toll on you and us. As Revelation 21:4 says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

  4. Aunt Pearl
I remember when my brothers and I spent the night at your home, cause my parents and you and uncle Frank went out dancing. woke up smelling fresh home made tortillas and bacon, and I think 8 cousins at the time came running to the table. it was defend for yourself.
    a fun memory.
You will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace Aunt Pearl

  5. Mom you had a tough time these past years. Each visit broke my heart as I saw your decline. On my last visit Alex and Ray were with me, we were able to say good-bye together. We knew than that you would be leaving us soon. I love you Mom and will miss you always. Thank you for loving us.

  6. I’ll miss you Mom and my children were lucky to have a beautiful Grandmother that took time to be with them and love them both . Rest In Peace Mom
