Nov. 1942 – Oct. 2021

A Native of California, Betty Ellen Kelley, 79, passed away on October 6, 2021, after a long illness.  Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was happiest when surrounded by her family, playing cards, and building puzzles with her grandchildren.  Betty loved music and could be heard singing while doing any activity.  Betty stayed active, she worked well into her sixties before retiring.  She could be found reading the Sunday paper front to back each week.  She enjoyed all these things before her health began to fail.

Betty lives on as a perfect role model of someone who was selfless and devoted to her family. She will be missed, until we see each other again, we love you.

Kelley; children William Helnore Jr., Sheril Hernandez, Lori Medeiros and Christine Ortiz; siblings Mildred Corley and Barbara Gonzales; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brother Adolph E. Sanchez Jr and sister Delores Tuttle.

    My Beautiful Nonny,
I’ll miss you so much. I’ll be forever grateful to you for always being there for me whenever I needed you, however I needed you. You are the best grandma a girl could have. I loved listening to records and A tracks with you and pops. Singing the Judd’s and Reba with you. I’m so thankful for all the memories I have with you. I love you nonny and until we meet again I’ll cherish the memories.
