Jesus Rivera Rodriguez, age 76, of Modesto passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Doctors Medical Center.  Jesus was born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico and settled in Modesto in 1974.  He was a hard working man and worked in the fields for many years, then stayed employed with Seneca Foods and retired after 35 years.  Jesus was an avid fisherman.

Jesus is survived by three children:  Jesus Rivera Jr., Guadalupe Rivera, and Angelica Hernandez; seven grandchildren:  Norma Bravo, Alfredo Bravo, Adriana Rivera, Joel Rivera, Hector Hernandez, Abigail Hernandez, and Enrique Hernandez Jr.; two great grandchildren:  Mateo Javier Bravo and Elijah De Jesus; and five siblings.

A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 10am at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Ceres, CA.
