Remembrances

  1. I will miss your dear brother-in-law. The wonderful art hanging in my house will keep my memories of you alive. We had some great travels together especially to Minnesota and Alaska. I will miss you but plan to see you in heaven some day.

  2. Papa,
You were the most loving man i know. You spoiled us rotten with unlimited ice cream. Always feeding us chicken nuggets, spaghetti-o’s, or tater tots. Boy you sure didn’t believe in juice or hardly any water. Soda was always stocked in the fridge for us. You always had a little pool for us to swim in every time we came down. Youd sit outside for hours just watching us splash and play. You loved us tremendously! For years and years you’d buy me a huge stuffed animal for Christmas and i loved the mystery of guessing what it would be next. You were by far the best ,and my personal favorite, artist out there. First thing I did when i came over was head straight for the kitchen to see what papa was working on on his easel. I loved sitting there and admiring your art…. and also playing around with you pastels. I know You seen that I had some sort of artistic talent at a very young age and you helped nurture it throughout my childhood. I wouldn’t be the artist I am today without you. You inspired me any so many ways. In art, your garden, how loving you were, your thoughtfulness. You were an amazing man! I thank God i was blessed to have you as MY papa. Ill miss hugging you and kissing you on your head. Ill miss you walking us out to our cars and always being sure to tell us every time that we better drive safe! I loved your witty humor and how you never failed to make me laugh when I came over. Papa, I miss you now and I will miss you for the rest of my life. You were my one true papa and i cherished every moment I had with you. I love you papa and may you rest in peace. I pray one day i will become as great of a person and artist as you!

    Love always
    your Granddaughter
    Chelsea

  3. Dad, you were one of the best things that ever happened to me. I am so thankful that you were in my life. You loved me even though I was not biologically yours and I am grateful! Thank you for all that you did for my kids and myself. You always gave unselfishly of your time and love. In about 15 minutes or so you would have been 91. I wish you could’ve been here for your birthday but I am glad you are not in any more pain. I will miss you so very much! I love you dad!

  4. Working at the TPR I met Robert .such a sweet, kind and quiet man.. May you rest in peace n forever no more pain…prayers for the families

  5. You will be forever loved and missed. The greatest dad ever.
The best grandpa ever to my kids. A beekeeper, artist, landscaper and loved gardening, enjoyed a game of cards at times, loved a good cigar and glass of wine or a good book.
This man loved his children and family more then most will ever truly understand.
    I love you dad.
