Ronald “Ronnie” Gerald Bonander passed away early this week, with his family who loved him deeply by his side.

Ron was born in Turlock, California to Robert (Gerald) and Atha Bonander in the fall of 1948.  Raised with four siblings, Ronald worked on the family farm from an early age.  As an adult, Ron continued to work on various farms with Carl Kruppa Farms being the last in his career.  Kruppa Farms was his pride and joy as he loved to garden and keep up the landscaping for the Kruppa home, farm, and business.

Ron lived for San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49er games, as well as his bowling league.  Above everything else was Ron’s love for his family.  He loved them with all of his heart.

Ron is survived by his mother Atha, siblings Randall Bonander, Richard Bonander, Robert (Jerry) Bonander and Aleece Stillman of Knoxville, Tennessee.  Ron has ten nieces and nephews and a very large extended family, all of whom will miss him dearly.  Ron was preceded in death by his father Robert (Gerald) in 2015.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Delhi Community Presbyterian Church located at 15917 El Capitan Way Delhi, California.  The Bonander family extends a warm invitation to all who knew Ronnie to come and share in this celebration of his life and encourage all to share precious memories on this website.

Ron was always such a nice man with a happy smile and a kind heart. He was always willing to help out whatever the task may have been. I worked with Ron at Kruppa Farms where we became friends. I’m sad for the family and my prayers go out to them. Ron always talked about the love he had for his family. Rest in Peace my friend.
