Steve was a very dear friend of mine in college and I do not know what I would have done without him in my pursuit for a math degree! He always opened up his house for late night study groups and fed us healthy brain food such as hot pockets, mini pizzas and cereal. We would spend hours and hours working on abstract algebra, differential equations operations research, calculus and probability theory homework. Rebecca wouldn’t complain at all for being loud and rowdy””yes, math geeks get rowdy””until the wee hours of the night. Steve was one of those people that made math fun and enjoyable, and I will never forget him. He was a great man and I am positive he is in Heaven with his Cincinnati Reds hat tutoring the angels in math!

Steve was A true friend a good husband and the perfect match for my dear friend Rebecca; And for that alone, I loved Steve. He was fun to be around, when we did see him, and he was always quick with a compliment on our music. Gone way too soon.

Steve was a great friend, I remember studying with him late and was the best math tutor. Nobody could make the math simpler than Steve. I would not have an Associate Degree in Mathematics without him. Steve was such an influence in my life I could never forget him. Steve was the reason I made it through calculus and several other math courses besides math Steve was great man I loved his sense of humor. I still remember the laughter we shared watching south park episodes. Steve is one of the nicest persons I have ever met. I am great full I got to know him. I am saddened that he had to leave so early.

  6. Oscar Zagazeta says

I will remember our late night study parties. Having a blast and getting work done, was how we did it. He will always be in my memories because I am certain that without him I wouldn’t be a math teacher as I am now. My friend helped me to pass my classes and to feed me good cereal.
