Truly (aka Misty) Ann Norwood was born August 18, 1973 in Ohio, to Janice and Ronald Norwood.

She graduated high school and went on to be a dedicated drug counselor for pregnant at-risk teens at Heritage Home; a calling rather than a job she truly loved.

Truly found enjoyment being surrounded by her longtime school friends who became like sisters to her. She was active in her daughter’s Los Banos High School Band, and was always there for her son’s achievements at King’s View. She became a stay-at-home Mom after an injury.

Truly recently joined friends and family at Connect Los Banos Church.

She leaves to mourn her children Kiera and Myles, her parents Arthur and Janice Morgan, her sister Pamela and brother Ronald, her niece Ayana, nephews Ronald, Darius, and Bishop, her loving partner Jason, and a host of cousins and extended family.

Memorial service on Saturday, November 24th at 3:00 pm at United Methodist Church, Los Banos.

Truly wanted to leave this message to all:

Before you were ever born, before you ever did something “good” or “bad”; I LOVED YOU. You see, my love is not something you earn. I LOVE YOU because I AM LOVE. Yes, I know your sin–all of it; none of it is hidden from me. But listen carefully: it makes NO difference. In fact, when I see you, it brings a smile to my face, and my heart is so full I break out in song. And should you ever doubt my love, just look at the cross. And when you do, don’t focus on the sin that nailed me there-focus on my love that conquered sin.

So be still. Be silent. Let me love you well. Don’t get up too quickly. Let this sink in. I LOVE YOU. It’s not too good to be true; it’s just too good. I LOVE YOU.

Now, as you go, love others as I LOVE YOU. And when loving becomes difficult, come to me and let me show you once again how much I LOVE YOU.

Sincerely,

GOD

Misty, I could never call you a friend because you have always been my sister by spirit. I will miss your laugh, your dancing while I’m trying to do your hair, your hugs, your listening ear, and most of all your love. I will cherish every memory we shared and everything we experienced together from young girls to adults…. both good and bad. I miss you so much, but I know you are no longer in pain and I know that Heaven has gained an Angel.See you when I get there. Love you always.
