Wendy, 56, died in a local hospital last week. Wendy grew up in the local area having attended and graduating from Gratton School in 1979, Hughson High School in 1983, and Modesto Junior College in 1998. Wendy was a Respiratory Therapist having worked at Emanuel Medical Center for 29 years. At Hughson High School Wendy was a stand out athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and softball and was awarded the prestigious 12 sport award upon her graduation. Wendy was proud to be one of the “83 girls” remaining close with her friends and classmates her entire life.
Wendy leaves behind her husband Brad Becker of Hughson, sons Gary Pereira and Blake Pereira of Turlock, sisters Sandy Williams of Modesto, Stacey Sullivan of Ripon, and Heidi Beck of Hughson and brother Clint Roberts of Greenville, Tennessee.
Wendy was loved by many and will be missed by all.
There will be a Celebration of Life Event on January 22nd at 11 AM at the Church of Christ, 1519 Tully Rd, Hughson, Ca 95326.

January 20, 2022 at 4:00 pmI am so sorry for the passing of Wendy. She was such a bundle of joy and always full of smiles! She had such an excitement for life and lived it to the fullest. I know she will be missed terribly. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it to her funeral; however, I will be praying for the family during this very difficult time. My sincere sympathies to all.
