Adam Christopher Sanchez, 41, of Turlock, California, passed away on February 27, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Adam was born on June 29, 1982 to Donna Abshire in Merced, California. He grew up in Los Banos, California with cousins that were more like siblings.  Throughout his childhood, Adam played baseball and football, excelling at both. After Adam graduated from Los Banos High School in 2000, he went on to play baseball for Merced Junior College as a pitcher.

Adam began his career at the Turlock Poker Room in 2004 as a card dealer.  During his 19 years with TPR, he worked his way to Casino Operations Manager.

In 2009, Adam met his wife Molly while they worked together at TPR. Adam and Molly went on to have three children, Elijah 12, Nolan 11, and Dylan 7 along with their two dogs, Daisy and Duke.  Adam enjoyed sharing his love of baseball with his boys.  He was always willing to help out and coached for Turlock American Little League.

4th of July, Halloween, baseball, and his family were Adam’s favorite things. He loved to travel and take his boys to the beach in Monterey.

Adam is survived by his wife, Molly, and their three sons, Elijah, Nolan and Dylan, along with his mother Donna Abshire.

Adam was preceded in death by his cousin Joey Silva, and grandparents Billy Ray Abshire and Faye Abshire.

A visitation will be held for Adam Sanchez on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Allen Mortuary in Turlock.

There will be a funeral service held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Allen Mortuary.
