It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Alfonso Gonzalez on June 7, 2025. He was born on May 16, 1986 to Jorge and Maria Elena Gonzalez in Salinas, CA.
He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather and a great friend. His sudden departure has left an indescribable void in our hearts.
He grew up in King City, CA then moved to Turlock with his wife and child in 2007. Once here in Turlock he had three more children. He was a man with a lot of energy. One of his favorite hobbies was working out. He had a passion for lifting weights and he also loved working on his lowrider car. He loved being with family. He worked as a driver for Mission Linen for 18years. He loved interacting with all his customers and coworkers. Anyone that knew him knew he was the life of the party, loved to joke and have a good time. He was a joyful soul whose presence touched so many lives. He will truly be missed
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Gonzalez of Turlock, his children, Alfonso Gonzalez Jr., Julian Gonzalez, Elizandra Gonzalez and Briella Gonzalez, all of Turlock, CA. His parents Jorge Gonzalez & Maria Elena Gonzalez of Turlock, his siblings, Griselda Francis of Turlock, Miriam Arellano of King City, Ruby Gonzalez of King City and Jorge Gonzalez of Turlock.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:30pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave in Turlock. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, June 20, also at Sacred Heart. Interment will follow in Turlock Cemetery.
