Amanda Katrina Summer Wilson
June 21, 1990 ~ July 26, 2025
Amanda Katrina Summer Prescott (Wilson) of Turlock, California passed away at the age of 35. She was born in Apple Valley, California to David Wilson and Barbara Beach. She graduated from Delhi High School, attended MJC, and worked as a Store Manager in retail. She dedicated her life to caring for and raising her son Landon.
Amanda, who will always be remembered as the baby of the family, was a person who lived life to the fullest and loved deeply. Her greatest love was her son, Landon, but she would move mountains to help someone in need. Amanda’s favorite activities included spending time with her family- her mom, son, siblings, and nieces and nephews. She enjoyed last minute adventures and was known for her vivacious, outgoing and gregarious personality, sharing her beautiful smile with everyone. Amanda’s generous and dynamic energy made her a quick friend, creating many lifelong friendships and making her a favorite auntie among her nieces and nephews. The many people who loved her describe her as a natural leader and one-of-a-kind. Landon’s friends often describe her as a second mother.
Amanda is survived by her mother Barbara Beach, her stepfather Richard Evans, her son Landon David Wilson, her siblings and their spouses: David and Kathy Laird, Stacy and Raymond Alvarado, Tracy and Bert Moore, Daneel Wilson, Sharla Wilson, Genifer and Jason Wayrynen, and Winona Wilson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in passing by her father David Wayne Wilson, and her grandparents from both sides of her family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Allen Mortuary, 247 N Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380 on Saturday, August 16 at 1:00pm with a reception to follow at Carnegie Arts Center, 250 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA 95380.
