In loving memory of Amelia Chastain. Born Amelia Martinez on August 1st, 1951, in Santa Barbara, California to Floyd and Alice Martinez. She grew up on the beach with her sisters and loved the ocean. She was a natural percussionist and loved to play the congas.
In 1974, she met John Chastain, they were married in 1978. They rode up and down the state of California on a 1978 Harley until their son Matthew was born on the 18th of November 1986. The following year they settled in Merced, California.
She was a great mom and a faithful loving wife. She is survived by her husband John, their only son Matthew and his granddaughter Madison.
She will be missed dearly.
