Barbara Taylor October 7, 1943 - February 28, 2026

Barbara Taylor, 82, a longtime resident of Denair, California for 56 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 28, 2026.

Barbara was born on October 7, 1943, in Richmond, California to Archie and Opel Howell. As a young child she resided in Stevenson, CA and later the family moved to Turlock, CA. Over the years she worked at the Turlock Ceramic Shop and later as a florist at Turlock
Floral Shop.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Taylor; her son, Carl Taylor; her mother, Opel Howell; her father, Archie Howell; and her siblings, Darvin Howell and Margaret Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Jim Taylor and Wes Taylor, as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory.
