Carlos Arthur Perales February 7, 1981 - March 24, 2022

February 1981 ~ March 2022

Carlos was born in Turlock and graduated from Turlock High School in 1999.  He worked for City of Turlock as a utility maintenance worker for 20 years.  He also enjoyed working the last 15 years for the Stanislaus County Fair as a “people mover” driving board members and others from place to place.  Carlos volunteered his time as a member of the chain gang for Turlock and Pitman High School football games.  He also enjoyed coaching many of his daughters’ softball teams over the years.
Family always came first for Carlos and he treasured time spent with them.  He also enjoyed good food, all things Disney, hunting, fishing, baseball, softball, golf and camping trips.  His family and friends will remember most his contagious smile and laugh.  Carlos was always a kid at heart and never let the “adult” world jade his positivity.
He is survived by his wife Andrea Perales; parents Gloria and Steve Perales; children Kayleen Zayehmoureh, Christian Zayehmoureh, Carina Perales, Brandon Perales and Jason Perales; siblings Olivia Ramirez, Steve “Stevie” Perales, Michael Perales and Arthur Perales; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial donations can be made to his families’ Go Fund Me account at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/anxdx-perales-carlos-and-family?qid=e67a6de8f63da549152ef337d793867b
Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 12:00p.m. with interment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.

I am really sad to say that I accidentally came across this obituary. I remember Carlos & Michael as boys playing little league baseball. Those boys were “stars” in my mind. I remember Gloria and Steve as the nicest people, in fact the whole family was very loving. There was a uncle-I don’t remember his name but really involved with the boys. As Carlos grew up, I would see him around working for the city. I was so shocked to see his picture today. He was very handsome. I let Colette (my daughter) know as well. Carlos will have lasting memories as that little boy that I thought was just so awesome. I appreciate the Lord for the time that was shared. We were all blessed to know him. God bless.

One of the rare good guys left! Know Carlos since high school and then as he worked for the City and I worked for TID never can say I saw him mad or upset! Even all our talks during his treatments he had a super positive attitude and never let you know he was in pain or suffering! Got to be with him a lot during the 3 years I helped coach his step son Christian. Definitely will miss him! They don’t make them like that anymore! Rest In Peace my Brutha!! Love the Higgins family.

We may not have been that close in recent years, but Carlos was always the best man. He kept me away from a destiny on the streets, a debt I can’t repay. I love you brother, you were an angel in life and now an angel above. I am so glad I got to talk to you. Rest is peace my friend. I am so sorry Gloria and Steve, my heart aches for you every second right now.

Carlos was a treasure. I got to know him when he came to work for me…he was still in high school. I was a youth sports photographer and Carlos’ personality shined when he was with the customers! He could flash those pearly whites and those little girl softballers would fall in line like dominoes…didn’t wanna make the HOT picture guy mad! I grew to love Carlos. Who that knew him didn’t? I hadn’t seen him for quite a few years…but I will never forget him…he helped my family and gave of his heart…Thanks, Carlos…you earned a bonus!
