Darryl Lasater
June 6, 1960 – September 17, 2025
Our dad, Darryl, passed away on September 17, 2025, and the world feels a little quieter without him in it. He had the “gift of gab” with anyone and turned strangers into friends in no time. He had a hustler’s spirit, always working hard and doing whatever it took to take care of those he loved. But more than that, he had a heart that showed up. If you needed him, he was there no questions asked, to his children, he wasn’t just Darryl, the man everyone knew for his stories, his laughter, and his work ethic. He was our dad. The one who taught us strength, showed love in his own way, and reminded us that family always comes first. He will be missed more than words can ever explain, but his voice, his lessons, and his love will always stay with us.
Darryl leaves behind his children Travis Lasater, Troy Lasater, and Tabitha Lasater; brothers Dwayne Lasater and Daniel Lasater and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Trevor Lasater and brother Richard Lasater.
Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Monday, October 6, 2025 beginning at 9:00a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at Ceres Memorial Park.

My brother. I am your cousin but you were always a brother to me. All the great times we had as kids and teenagers, when my family would take vacation up to Stockton, we could not wait to see you guys. Like the time I jumped on a 100,000$ tractor you were driving and we broke the drivetrain fooling around, that was one of many situations we got into. I will always love you and appreciate you as my most influential cousin and friend. Will never forget the numerous times we spent on “E” street, drag racing, four wheeling at deep creek, going to the desert to see uncle Tilo. Hopefully will not see you soon, but when I do it will be like old times.
