David Anthony Sandoval of Turlock, California passed away at the age of 68, leaving behind a lifetime of memories with those who knew and loved him. David was born in Turlock to John and Sally Sandoval and remained there the rest of his life. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1975 and went on to build a strong work ethic that defined much of his life.
David began his career with Turlock Scavenger before spending 33 dedicated years as a truck driver for Save Mart. David took great pride in providing for his family and in a job well done.
Above all, David was a family man. He raised his two children, Melissa and David, with love and care, and his devotion to his wife Heidi was evident. Some of his happiest moments were the simple ones—spending time at home with his family and his beloved dogs.
David had a love for cheering on his favorite teams, the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers, and if he was in his truck you could guarantee he was enjoying a good ol country song. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and found joy in the everyday moments.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his loyalty, and the love he gave so freely to his family. David will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
David is survived by his wife Heidi Sandoval, his daughter Melissa Gonzales(Jaime) his son David Sandoval(Tracy), his sister Linda Chavez, his brothers Greg and Jimmy Sandoval, his 4 grandchildren (Ashley, Jaime Jr, Madeline and Caroline), his great grandson Jameson “little guy” and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents John and Sally Sandoval, and his sister Virginia Sandoval
A memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary on 30MAR2026 at 10:00AM. Immediately after, the burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Cemetery, and a reception will be at Denair Senior Center (3756 Alameda Ave, Denair, Ca)
