Donna Jean Bower
September 24, 1957 – March 8, 2026
Donna was born in Portland, Oregon on September 24, 1957 and passed away after an extended illness on March 8, 2026. Her family will miss her caring and loving demeanor that allowed her to take care of others so well. Donna was an artist and enjoyed drawing in her younger years; more recently she liked to crochet and spend time studying her bible. Donna also enjoyed cooking and eating healthy foods. She lived her life with a humble heart; she was very intelligent and enjoyed laughter with friends and family members. Even strangers could find comfort in Donna’s caring words and approach to life’s circumstances; especially her great sense of humor. Donna had 4 children with her husband, Greg Bower and loved them dearly. Her family has many happy memories together. When Donna was older, she began looking into the Bible as a guide for living, and found that she cherished its advice. She decided to get baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witness in 2012. She was dedicated to her decision until the end of her life.
She leaves behind her children Erica Reis, Laura Bower and Sara Bower; daughter-in-law Jamie Bower; parents Carolyn (Bob) Wild; siblings Barbara (John) Gilbert and Bobby (Judy) Vidal; sister-in-law Sarah Bower; grandchildren Michael Bower, Noah Bower, Sofia Bower and Giana Bower; nieces and nephews Andy Vidal, Steven Gilbert, Jaque Vidal, Benny Vidal and Jacob Vidal. Donna was preceded in death by Greg Bower; her son Danny Bower and her father Robert Vidal.
Private services will be held in Donna’s memory.
