October 14, 2022

Dorsena Mae Tipton passed away at the age of 61 and was loved by her family. Dorsena was someone who cared for others and always looked to make sure that people were loved and taken care of. She had the ability to see the good in people. She looked to help anyone by letting them stay with her in her home, or even making sure that if they came over for Christmas, they had a gift to open. She was a hard worker, who took great care of her customers and made sure that they were satisfied. She made delicious fried potatoes and biscuits and gravy, all who ate them were filled. Dorsena enjoyed playing Bingo and spread the passion to her family. She also enjoyed movie nights. She had a laugh that could fill the room and looked for the humor in everything. She was the best mom that a child could ever ask for. She adored her grandchildren and always enjoyed spending time with them.

Dorsena is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Ona Mae Cox and her grandson Auston Albert Jaramillo. Dorsena is survived by her husband Herbert Curtis Tipton, her children Michael Glen Tipton and Amber Lynn Jaramillo. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Devin Curtis Tipton, Dylan Michael Tipton, Akyla Sharee Jaramillo, Aundray Clayton Jaramillo, Adalynn Maeleigh Jaramillo, her siblings Russell Cox, Randy Shelton, Carolyn Baker, and Regina Alsip.
