George Lee Toews
February 25, 1954 ~ January 24, 2026
George Lee Toews, 71, went to heaven to be with our Father. He is now building each of our mansions in heaven, preparing room for all his family and friends.
George was born in Turlock, California to his parents John and Ruth Toews. He went on to marry the love of his life Carolyn Sue Gutrie of 48 years of marriage. George was a dedicated carpenter of almost 60 years.
His smile and loving elegance will forever be missed. He will be remembered with smiles but occasionally with tears.
George is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sue Toews, his children Caleb Lee Toews, Joshua John Toews, Vanessa Ruth Dale Toews and Jennifer Abbott, his grandchildren Abigale, Jaden, and Alanis, his siblings Anthony Toews, Rose Shehan, Kathy Jantz, Linda Koehn and Janice Jantz, his 4 aunts and lots of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
George will forever be missed
A memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary 247 N. Broadway Turlock, CA on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00am
A celebration of life will follow to Valley Hope Church 610 W. Hawkeye Avenue Turlock, CA from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
