Gertrudes Forshey, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 70 years old.
Born on June 6, 1955, Trudy lived a life filled with an infectious joy that touched everyone she met. She was known for her brilliant smile and a great personality that could light up any room. She had an extraordinary love for life, which she expressed through her passions: singing, dancing, and simply having a good time. Her presence made every gathering feel like a celebration, and her spirit will forever echo in the music and laughter of those who loved her.
Trudy leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and happiness through her children: Lauran Childers, Sean Forshey, and Michael Forshey. She was a devoted and beloved figure to her 11 grandchildren and the proud great-grandmother to one great-grandchild.
She will be deeply missed by her entire family and all the friends whose lives she enriched with her vibrant energy and generous heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Christian Church, 3402 Mars Ct. suite 111 Tracy, CA. on Saturday, November 22 at 11am
