Gurdeep Kaur Sohal
1936–2026
Mrs. Gurdeep Kaur Sohal of Livingston, California, passed away at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto at the age of 90.
Born in India, Gurdeep immigrated to Livingston in 1988. She was a devoted member of the Livingston B Street Sikh Temple and found great fulfillment in serving her temple community. Gurdeep also enjoyed cooking and treasured the time she spent surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her six children, Tarlochan Sohal, Talwinder Singh, Sukhjit Sangha, Surinder Kaur, Yadwinder Singh, and Daljit Kaur; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gurdeep was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mehnga Sohal, in 2011.
Funeral services will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Allen Mortuary. A ceremonial Sikh cremation will follow.
