Jennifer Doerksen of Turlock passed peacefully on August 30, at 70, surrounded by her daughters.
A proud graduate of Denair High School, Jennifer earned her degree in English, graduating magna cum laude, from California State University Stanislaus, where she also received her teaching credential.
Throughout her life, Jennifer was driven by her love of reading and writing, roles she embraced both as a teacher and a writer. Her commitment to education was matched only by her deep connection to the community.
