Jesus Galvan Fonseca February 22, 1952 - August 19, 2025

Date of Service

September 12, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jesus Galvan Fonseca 73 born February 22, 1952 , a devoted great-grandfather, grandfather, father, uncle, and brother, who left us on August 19, 2025 surrounded by love.

Jesus was the heart and light of our family. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to everyone who knew him. He was a man of great character gentle yet strong, humble yet proud and he carried himself with a quiet grace that left an impact on all of us.

He dedicated his life to working hard and providing for his family, never hesitating to put others before himself. His sacrifices and endless love created the foundation on which our family stands today. Whether it was with a kind word, a helping hand, or simply his reassuring smile, Jesus reminded us of the importance of family, love, and perseverance.

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was our teacher, protector, and greatest supporter. As a brother and uncle, he was a source of strength, laughter, and cherished memories. His legacy will live on in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. Jesus’s favorite past time was being with his great grandchildren. They would spend time going to the park, feeding the ducks, and then spending Grandpa’s money. He was fiercely protective of his great-grandchildren. He was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers and enjoyed watching their games.

Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well lived and a man deeply loved. His memory will forever shine in our hearts.

Jesus is survived by his wife of 47 years Virginia Galvan, his sons Lewis Gastelo, Vicente Lucero, Jesus Guadalupe Galvan and Agustin Galvan and his only daughter Latania Gastelo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren brothers and sisters. Proceeded in death by his mom and dad Salvador Galvan and his mom Esperanza Fonseca and his son Juy Gastelo he now joins in eternal rest with those who have gone before him.
