Jose Manuel Ceja passed away at the age of 37. Jose was born September 15, 1985 in Mexico to Francisco and Guadalupe Ceja. He came to Modesto about 27 years ago and graduated from Modesto High School in 2004. Jose was employed with Fransico Upholstery for the last five years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending time swimming with his daughter, Audrynna.
Jose is survived by his wife Estela Moreno; daughter Audrynna Ceja; siblings Francisco, Claudia, Max, and Ivet Ceja; and parents Francisco and Guadalupe Ceja.
Visitation will begin at 4:30pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Allen Mortuary with recitation of the Rosary following at 5pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Friday, August 25, 2023 at St. Jude Parish in Ceres with a graveside to follow at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Modesto.
