Linda Kay Pombo, 72, passed away at home in Hilmar on August 6, 2023 from this life into the presence of Jesus Christ. Linda was born in Oklahoma on August 31, 1950 to her parents Ted and Luida Thurman.
Linda and Louie enjoyed traveling, fishing, and camping together. Linda attended Lifegate Free Will Baptist Church in Turlock, CA. A friend introduced Linda to Louie, they were married June 19, 1967, and were together for 56 years.
Linda is preceded in death by her son Shannon Pombo, her mother Luida Miller, and her father Ted Thurman, Linda is also preceded in death by her in laws Manuel and Mary Pombo, sister Barbara Walkup, and her grandson Robbie Merrifield. Linda is survived by her husband Louie Pombo, son Stacy (Tracy) Pombo, granddaughter D’Nelle (Michael) Silveira, granddaughter Kourtni Pombo, great grandchildren Liam Adams, Phoebe and Maverick Silveira and Ryder Merrifield. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Graham and Glenda Beverage.
Linda was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be cherished and missed always.
