Mary Jean Isabell, age 91 of Turlock, passed away at St. Frances Assisted Living in Turlock. Mary was born to Alfred and Flossie Plunkett in Casey, IL in 1931. She moved to Turlock in 1939 and attended Mitchell Elementary School and graduated from Turlock High School in 1949.
She was set up on a blind date and met the man she would marry, Robert H. Barringer on February 18, 1950. She was a homemaker and worked at her church. She gave her children strong Christian beliefs. She loved Christmas and was a very giving person. She still had her high school friends and many more.
Mary is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Debbie) Barringer and Kevin (Rose) Barringer, one grandson Ken Barringer Jr., six great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Barringer, daughter Kristi Barringer, and granddaughter Sylvia Gonzales.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Allen Mortuary from 11am-1pm with the funeral service to begin at 1pm. Graveside will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 at 11:00am.
