May 20, 2025 at 6:49 pmMay you rest in paradise Mary you truly were a Angel! I was fortunate enough to provide Care, Compassion and Love to you at Seqouia Assisted living for almost 3 years! I remember when days we’re trying i’d make my way down to room 29 and hide in your room with you and watch Golden Girls we would sit there for a good 30-45 minutes. You would hear the pager i had going off and say uh oh.. then we’d look at each other and giggle. Having to leave and go back to work was rough and you would say come back soon to me and give me a big hug! Before I left the room i’d slip you a treat usually a chocolate! You loved your sweets! Then the day you left broke me but i made it a point to sneak over to the Care Center and see you! Your eyes would light up as soon as you saw I was there and before I’d leave you would ask when I was coming back and of course I would sneak you a small treat. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and being so sweet to me. To Mary C. and your siblings thank you for always being so kind to us workers there at Seqouia we know you trusted us workers with your moms care and thank you for the yummy donuts you would surprise us with. May God continue to watch over you and give you strength in these difficult times! Sending hugs!
