Minnie Souza passed away peacefully at home at the age of 83. She was born in Missouri. When she was a young girl and the youngest of 8, her family moved to California. There she went on to raise four active boys, attending their baseball games and working at the Lamplighter Restaurant, where she later met her late husband Bill.
Minnie and Bill enjoyed spending time in Monterey and the Gold Country shopping for antiques and listening to her favorite singer, Alan Jackson.
She is survived by her children Mark (Tammy), Troy (Karrie) and Todd (Konda); 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sisters Betty and Bonnie, and brothers J.D., Jim, Bob and Clinton.
She is preceded in death by her son Scott, her husband Bill, her father and mother, Charlie and Fleta King, and her brother Paul.
Graveside service on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 11:30am at Turlock Memorial Park.
