July 18, 1942 – July 3, 2025

Pathmani was born in Matara, Sri Lanka and passed away at the age of 82 in Mariposa County. She received an MBBS degree at the University of Ceylon, Colombo, Sri Lanka and worked for many years as a pediatrician and neonatologist. She loved to travel and during those trips she visited many countries and six continents. Pathmani enjoyed gardening and taking care of animals; she notably adopted dogs, fed the birds and had a fish pond.
She attended Buddhist events and had close ties to Buddhi Vihara in San Jose and American Buddhist Seminary in West Sacramento. Pathmani attended reunions for Devi Balika Vidyalaya premier national girl school in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Pathmani leaves behind three siblings and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother who she cared for and whom was her travel companion for many years.
A memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 1:00p.m.
