Our beloved Phil was born in Dragerton, Utah. He leaves behind his siblings Theron Christensen, Diane Christensen, Cynthia Davidson and Catherine Bostwick. He also leaves behind his brother-in-laws Brian Davidson and Michael Bostwick, sister-in-law Natalie Christensen, and many nephews and nieces who all loved and adored him. Phil was preceded in death by his father LaSalle Christensen, mother Bettie Christensen, sister Pamela Habblett, brother Galen Christensen, nephew Joe Heywood and sister-in-law Patti Christensen.
Phil loved his family and friends dearly. He was an avid animal lover that loved his dogs like children. His dogs Cherokee, Lakota and Comanche were never far from his side. Comanche has found her new home with his dear niece and nephew.
He worked as a manager for many years with Sears and Horizon companies in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. He was known for his big heart, love of the outdoors, Denver Broncos, Oregon Ducks and chess, as well as his generous and kind spirit.
He was a man of strong faith who served as a mentor for many and loved by all. In addition, he was lovingly known as “Uncle” by many not related by blood, but in spirit. He will be missed and loved forever.
The family plans to have a private celebration of life at a later date. Keep his memory near your hearts.
