Richard was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, friend, coach and dedicated war hero.
He leaves behind his loving wife and children and not to mention the hundreds of student athletes. Everyone who knew Richard was touched by his warm demeanor. He never hesitated to greet you with a hug and a smile no matter who you were. After retiring from the Army, Richard began coaching youth football. His love for football and helping young athletes landed him a position at Gregori High School where he spent countless hours doing what he loved. He was full of compassion, dedication, and encouragement to all he encountered. He will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, December 7th at Allen Mortuary, 247 N. Broadway in Turlock. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 8th also at Allen Mortuary. Reception to follow service at the VFW 2801 W Hatch Rd, Modesto.
