Stella Jimenez was born on September 25th, 1953 to her parents Rachel and Raymond in Modesto, CA. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on September 8th, 2023 after a courageous battle with COPD.
In Stella’s 69 years of life, she spent the majority of it caring for others. She spent over 30 years as a caregiver taking care of her mother and her father, and also raised some of her grandchildren. She spent her life’s work being selfless and always putting the next person above herself but no one meant more to her than her grandchildren.
Stella was a Christian and her relationship with Christ was something she valued deeply. Stella enjoyed spending time with her family listening to oldies, watching The Golden Girls, and enjoying a cup of coffee while eating something sweet with anyone who came to visit her.
Stella is preceded in death by her mother Rachel, her father Raymond, her two sisters Ramona and Julie and her brother Raymond. Stella is survived by her five children Humberto, Ruby, Rachel, Mary, and Dario. She is also survived in death by her father Sergio, her three sisters Nellie, Mary, and Christina, her brother Manuel, her 14 grandchildren and her 9 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends, please join us in celebrating the beautiful life of Stella Jimenez. The viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary from 5-7 pm on Monday, September 18th, 2023. The funeral will be held the following day at 11am at Allen Mortuary followed by the burial at 12:30pm at Turlock Cemetery.
