Susanne Diaz, better known as Susie, was born on May 24, 1968, in Hanford, California to Damas and Rafaela Diaz. She passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 with loved ones by her side.
Susie had a zest for life even through her constant health struggles. She was a kidney recipient and an advocate for organ donation. She loved her family and grandchildren with all her heart and she wouldn’t want us to leave out her beloved dogs Kash and Broady. She loved music of all genres from her all-time favorite band Pearl Jam to her new surprisingly favorite group The Rose, a Korean pop rock band. She always had a way to keep you on your toes whether that be changing her hair color or her sense of style. She was known to many as the cool Tia and would always lend a hand to others in need. She was strong in her faith and always had trust in God’s will.
Susie is survived by her partner Kevin Lima; children Deena Pereda (Westrope) and Vanessa Westrope; parents Damas and Rafaela Diaz; siblings David Diaz, Edward Diaz and Esther Ortiz (Diaz); grandchildren Jossalin Leonard, Hazel Brandau, Trinity Brandau, Noah Brandau, Mila Pereda, Enzo Pereda, and Elijah Pereda; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and her loving family.
A viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary on Saturday, September 23, 2023 starting at 8:15 am, with a rosary service that will be held at 9:30 am. A celebration of life luncheon will follow at 11:30am at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 3001 Hotel Dr, Turlock, CA.
