Tyler Cavanagh October 23, 1998 - January 20, 2026

Date of Service

February 28, 2026

Tyler James Cavanagh, age 27, passed away on January 20, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Tyler was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend whose life, though far too short, was filled with strength, passion and love.

Tyler grew up in Turlock, California and is a graduate of Turlock High School. After bouncing around building life experiences in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for a couple of years, he headed east to Fort Worth, Texas where Tyler began his career as a land surveyor.

From the start, Tyler was always interested in anything outdoors. From local skate parks and BMX racing to double black diamond snowboarding. Tyler was an accomplished, well-rounded athlete who enjoyed all aspects of competing and pursuing excellence in many sports and hobbies. As a young man, Tyler developed a passion for golf. On any given day you would find him on a course or driving range chasing perfection.

Tyler has a personality like no other. He has the sweetest heart one minute, then the look of determination and drive the next. Tyler was known for his quick wit, strong opinions, generous spirit and loyalty, but most of all, his kindness.

Tyler leaves behind his parents, mother Heather Rebsamen and father Daniel Cavanagh (Rosa); his brothers Travis and Dylan, his sister Lexis; his nephew Cooper and niece Layla; and many loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life honoring Tyler will be held at Allen Mortuary in Turlock, CA on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 4:00p.m.
