Velma Wall
1927 – 2026
Velma Wall was born in Oklahoma in 1927 and came to Turlock as a child, where she later graduated from Turlock High School. In the mid-1940s, she married Delmer Wall, and together they built their life in Turlock.
Velma and Delmer were longtime members of First Christian Church in Turlock, where they worshipped faithfully until Delmer’s passing in 2021. Velma found joy in simple pleasures, especially attending yard sales—and just as much in hosting her own. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Sammy.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Wall (2021); her son, Birl Wall (2000); her sister, Norma Russell (2013); and grandchild, Kevin Wall.
She is survived by her daughter, Delinda Silva of Turlock; her son, Quentin Wall of Turlock; her grandson, Brian Wall; and her brother, Earl Casey of Northern California.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Allen Mortuary.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Turlock Memorial Park.
