I worked at Denair Elementary School during the time that Virginia Brown was there. She worked in the cafeteria and I worked in the office. One of my duties was to take the daily lunch count and provide that information to the cafeteria staff. Virginia always congratulated me when my count matched the actual lunches served, and said that I was the only one to get it right! I will always remember her smile and the laughs we shared.

Jennie was my Aunt her sister Joy was my mother: I have fond memories of Aunt Jennie: As a young girl I stayed with her and Uncle Harrel. At the time they had no children and she would spoil me. When Lenis came along all of that stopped; just kidding she still welcomed me to her home anytime. She has had a good life and it’s always nice to look at the memories. Her and my mom were the two oldest sisters out of the Bell girls, they had a close relationship so if I didn’t see Jennie much my mom kept me informed of everything.
Peggy and Carol are the two younger Bell Sisters, the Sisters were always close I know she will be greatly missed.
