Jean D. Scott.
1948 – 2026
Jean was born July 21, 1948 to Joe and Ruth (Hollingsworth) Domecq of Denair. Her older sisters Suzanne and Julie welcomed her and were instrumental in helping her parents with her upbringing. Jean was a member of Denair Friends Church. She attended elementary and high school in Hughson. After graduating from high school she married Ron Scott and they and their son Chad made their home in Hughson. She attended Valley Commercial College and then began her career as a secretary/administrative assistant for Stanislaus County, Patterson Frozen Foods and then Creative Alternatives from which she retired in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ron and is survived by granddaughters Raya and Montana Scott; son Chad (Corina) and granddaughters Juliet and Marjean; as well as family members in Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, California and Japan.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Allen Mortuary.
Private burial at Denair Cemetery.
