Lupita passed away on May 10, 2026 at the age of 69.

Lupe was born in Autlan, Jalisco, Mexico, and came to the United States in 1970 at the age of 14. She spent most of her life in Modesto, California and her later years in Patterson, California where she was surrounded with family and loved ones.

She was a devoted mother to her four beautiful children, Victor Gaona, Sabrina Huerta, Ismael Lugo, and Joe Franco. Her family was the center of her life and she took great pride in watching it grow through future generations.

Lupita was also a cherished grandmother to Jessica García, Veronica Iniguez, Fabian Huerta, Lorenzo Lugo, Julisa Lugo, Victor Lugo, Daniel Magaña, and Joe “LJ” Franco. She was blessed to meet her first great-grandchild, Ash Rodriguez, and looked forward with joy to the arrival of her second great-grandchild Sofia Garcia.

Lupita will be remembered for her strength, love, kindness, and devotion to Jehova God and her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Discourse will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehova Witnesses, 270 Weber Ave., Patterson, CA 95363
