Anita A. Louis passed away peacefully at home, on hospice care, with her loved ones by her side on May 10, 2021 in Modesto, California. She went to be with Her Lord at the age of 71 years. She was born on May 12, 1950 in Modesto, California. She went to Thomas Downey High School. She ran a day care “Nene’s little tots” for 17 years. She then worked at Doctor’s Hospital for 30 years.
Anita was predeceased by her father Thomas Fontana, mother Josephine Cortese, and brothers Billy Cortese, Joey Cortese, and Thomas Fontana Jr.
Anita was survived by her loving husband John Louis. She is lovingly remembered by son John Anthony Louis, daughter Jennifer Louis, grandchildren Megan, Jaya, Morgan, Bryanna, Alicia, Zetta, and Jarrin, and great grandchildren Malachi, Everly, Noah, and Angelo.
Anita was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, Nana, great Nana, and a beloved friend. She was highly loved and well known. She cared deeply about her family, and her friends were always considered family. She loved without conditions and welcomed any and everyone without judgement and with open arms. Anita was a God-fearing woman who brightened every room she walked into. She was passionate about her job, she enjoyed helping others, loved to cook, had a green thumb and absolutely enjoyed gardening in her backyard.
Anita will be deeply missed and forever loved.
