Henry Shamblin, age 82, of Turlock, California passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020.  Henry was born in November of 1937 to Charlie and Sylvia Samblin in Blytheville, Arkansas.  Henry enlisted in the United States Air Force when he was 21 years old.  He settled in Turlock after his Honorable Discharge and owned Hitchen Post Bar in the 1960’s.  Henry retired as a Carpenter/Contractor after 40 years.

Henry is survived by his son, Rickey Shamblin; four grandchildren, Desirea Torres, Scott Shamblin, Lindsey Shamblin, and Marchele Barber; and four great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings, Grace Mendoza and Betty Reece; and sister in law, Virginia Beavers.

Henry will be laid to rest at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery next to his wife, Billie Shamblin.
